Tadoba National Park is one of India's finest national parks and one of the central tiger reserves. The national park is popular for its diverse range of flora and fauna and also the activities offered by the national park. Another big reason behind the growing tourism in Tadoba National Park is the population of tigers and the most preferred activity in Tadoba is the Tadoba Tiger Tour

Talking about the tigers makes me remind of that the dream of Tadoba becoming a central tiger reserve is true today because of three brave and popular tigers: Maya, Wagahdoh and Matkasur. These three names for tigers are loved by everyone and are popular all over the world. When talking about the growth of Tadoba National Park we can never miss these three names, so today in this blog, we are going to talk about the pride of Tadoba National Park.

Three Tigers Who Ruled the Hearts of the World:

1. Maya: Maya is one of the bravest tigresses in Tadoba National Park and she is also known as the queen of Tadoba. The reason behind her name is that she is the most loved and respected by everyone and also Tadoba is dependent on Maya. Tough her name means supernatural power and people believe she has something in her which attracts the attention of people around her. It is believed that she is the daughter of Nira and W-male. And the traits that she holds of being the most confident, strongest and bravest comes from her grandmother Katrina who used to rule the North prime zone which is now ruled by Maya.

Maya is now 13 years old as she was born in the year 2010. Sadly her mother died in the year 2012. She has three more siblings but they are not popular so people are not aware of their names. But as Maya is ruling the territory since the year 2012 after the death of her mother. The territory she is ruling is surrounded by lush green grassland and rich water sources and lakes is the reason why she is also known as “the lady of lakes.”

2. Matkasur: Matkasur is one of the most dominating tigers of Tadoba National Park and he is currently ruling Tadoba National Park and is known as the king of Tadoba. The reason behind his name is that he came to Tadoba from the Kolara Buffer zone. It is said that Matkasur is born in the Matkasur waterhole which is situated in the Kolara buffer zone. He comes into the limelight when he defeated the bear at that time Gabbar was the tiger who was dominating the territory. North Prime zone was one of the dream zones for everyone and Matkasur wanted to rule the zone and also wanted to mate with tigress Maya as well.

It was a dream zone because this zone has everything lush green grassland and many water sources as well such as Pandharpauni Lake 1, Pandharpauni Lake 2, waterhole 97, etc. so he begin the battle with Gabbar to win the territory and Maya but he failed in 1st attempt but he didn’t give up and he fought the 2nd time and defeated Gabbar n the year 2017. He is now with Maya and he is doing great in protecting his territory, Maya and her cubs.

3. Waghdoh or Scarface: Waghdoh was one of the most dominating tigers and he ruled the south prime area. The reason behind his name is because of the scar near his eyes during his fight with a gaur. It is said that he is the major reason behind the growth of the tiger census in Todoba National Park and also he is the father of popular Telia sisters— Mona, Sonam, Lara and Geeta. These sisters are ruling the southern area now.

Approximately a decade back Yeda Anna named Tiger used to rule this area but later after a few years Waghdoh defeated the Yeda Anna and also his cubs with Madhuri and started ruling this territory. After a few years, Madhuri moved to the buffer zone after her Sonam is ruling the Moharli zone one of the core zone. Waghdoh who was popularly known as “the big daddy” also moved to the buffer zone along with Madhuri. But sadly in the year 2022 Waghdoh who is popularly known as Scarface was found dead.

Conclusion:
